WATCH: Local shop releases song for the Laois hurlers ahead of Tipperary clash

Brought to you in association with Treacy’s Bar and Restaurant, The Heath

This is gas.

Helen Fortune of Fortune’s Fashion’s in Rathdowney has released a song for the Laois hurlers ahead of their trip to Croke Park to face Tipperary on Sunday.

Helen can seen clad from head to toe in Laois gear and she belts out her new song with gusto.

This isn’t the first time that Helen has done something like this.

Just last year, she remixed the words to ‘Lovely Rathdowney’ and managed to get the word ‘Rathdowney-Errill’ the rhyme in a song – which is no mean feat.

Rathdowney-Errill were gearing up to face Camross at the time in the county final.

Helen is a brilliant singer and is also very competent on the guitar.

Check it out below:

Lyrics:

We’re not afraid of Tipperary,
We’re not afraid of the foe.
We’re not afraid of Tipperary
Up to Croaker here we go

Goodbye Dublin County
LAOIS are here to stay
We’re not a long long way from Tipperary
Let Sunday be our day
Up Laois…
