Jack O’Rourke, Twoomey Park, Mountmellick, died August 2nd 2019. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Heenie, sons Alan and Trevor, grandchildren, sisters Maureen (Goode), Tuddles (Comerford), brother Bernie, grandchildren, family circle, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home from 7.30pm on Sunday evening. Recital of the Rosary at 8.30pm. Removal on Monday from Moloney’s Funeral Home at 1.50pm to St. Josephs Church, arriving for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial after in St. Josephs Cemetery. Live streaming of Jack’s Requiem Mass

Lower Aghada, Aghada, Cork/Cloneygowan, Offaly/Laois
P.J. (Pat) BYRNE (Lower Aghada, Cork & formerly of Cloneygowan, Co. Offaly) passed away on August 1st 2019 after a tragic accident. Loving father of Vinny, Shirley, Gillian and Doreen, husband of Mary (née Culligan), brother of Stephen, Mary, Carmel, Noel and the late Jim, much loved granddad of Jack, Kate, Aoibhínn and Keane. Sadly missed also by his daughter in law Caroline (Flynn), son in law Eoin (Jordan), sisters in law, brothers in law, father in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends, colleagues and students at Cork College of Commerce and his best friend and pet Swiney.
Reposing at Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton on Sunday from 6pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass on Monday (5th) at 2pm in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton. Family cremation service to follow

Mary Collins, Wolfe Tone Court, Mountmellick and Lord Edward Street, Mountmellick, Co. Laois. Died peacefully, August 1st 2019, in the loving care of the staff at Dromnin Nursing Home, Stradbally.
Deeply regretted by her daughter Julie and her partner Adrian, their son Phillip and his wife Cathy, grandchildren Stephen, Jamie, Vikkie, Jasmin, Jack and Robert, family circle, neighbours and her many friends, especially Peter, Nora and Willie O’Reilley and family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Gertrude (Gertie) Kavanagh (née McKay), Derrymore, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 2nd August 2019, (peacefully) in the exceptional care of the staff at Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Sadly missed by her daughter Florence, son Noel, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Billy, daughter-in-law Sandra, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home on Saturday from 12 noon, with Funeral Prayers at 7.30p.m.. Removal on Sunday afternoon to St. Peter’s Church, Mountrath, for Funeral Service at 3 o’clock, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard.

Maura Sheedy (nee Ryan), Ross, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Cullohill, Knock, Roscrea, 1st of August 2019, predeceased by her husband Francis and baby Patrick Conor.
Deeply regretted by her loving daughters, Phina (Sheedy) and Breda (Byrne), son Noel, brother Sean, grandchildren, Micheál, Frank, Deanna, Brandan, Brian, Aoife, Aaron, Elsa and Lila,Great grandchild Kara, son-in-law Tom, daughter in law Val, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing in Grey’s Funeral Home, Templemore this Saturday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Sunday Morning to The Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment in Couraganeen Cemetery, Roscrea afterwards.

Reposing at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore on Monday from 5pm until Removal at 6.30pm to the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 10am followed by Burial after Mass in St Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee at 11.30am.
