Two young Laois representatives playing during the All-Ireland semi-finals this weekend

Two young footballers from Laois are gearing up to play in Croke Park this weekend.

Eanna Byrne from Killeen and Crettyard’s Kyle O’Reilly are playing at half-time in the All-Ireland semi-finals between Dublin and Mayo, and Kerry versus Tyrone.

Twelve year old Eanna, who attends Killeen NS, will be playing during the interval of the Dublin and Mayo game.

Meanwhile Kyle, who goes to school in Newtown NS, will be playing at half-time during the semi-final between Kerry and Tyrone.

Both of skillful footballers were selected through the Cumann na mBunscol annual skills competition in May.

This comes after three Laois representatives played during the All-Ireland hurling semi-finals last month.

Best of luck to the two young footballers!
