LIVE BLOG: Follow all the action from the JFC ‘C’ final and the IFC Relegation final

After a busy weekend of hurling, attentions tonight turn back to the football.

We have two huge games down for decision this evening as the Junior ‘C’ football championship final and the Intermediate football championship relegation final will take place.

The action begins in O’Moore Park at 7.30pm where Graiguecullen take on Colt in the Junior C decider.

Graiguecullen reached this final following wins over O’Dempsey’s, Ballyfin, Arles-Killeen and Killeshin.

Colt have not won a football championship since 1998 and they will be looking to bridge that 21 year gap.

To get here, they defeated Ballyroan-Abbey, Rathdowney and Annanough.

Meanwhile in Crettyard at 7.45pm, survival is the name of the game as Timahoe and St Joseph’s do battle in the IFC Relegation final.

St Joseph’s second string were in this position last year and managed to get the better of neighbours Barrowhouse to preserve their status following promotion in 2017 from Junior A.

Timahoe went into 2019 with aspirations to achieve senior promotion but narrow defeats to Mountmellick and Clonaslee have left them here.

Alan Hartnett will be on duty in Crettyard while Siun Lennon will be providing the updates in O’Moore Park.
