Bridget Campion, Coolkerry, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Graigue, Drom, Templemore. August 29th 2019, peacefully in the wonderful care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Bridget predeceased by her husband Ger. Sadly mourned by her daughter Mary and her son Philip, daughter-in-law Josephine, son-in-law John, grandchildren Maria, Sarah, Seán Caoimhe, Philippa and Gearóid, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends and her wonderful carers.

Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney on Friday evening from 5pm with funeral prayers at 7pm followed by removal at 8pm to The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 noon followed by burial in Rathdowney local cemetery.

Patrick (Paddy) Dowling
Ballyfin Road, Mountrath, Laois/Camross, Laois

Patrick (Paddy) Dowling, Ballyfin Road, Mountrath (Eircode R32 Y620) and formerly of Camross, Co. Laois. Aug. 27. 2019. Peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila, daughters Majella and Jackie, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on the Ballyfin Road, Mountrath, this Wednesday evening, Aug. 28th, from 7 o’c with rosary in the house at 9 o’c and all day on Thursday with rosary at 9 o’c. Removal on Friday morning to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’c, with burial immediately afterwards in St. Fintan’s cemetery, Mountrath.

Harry Allen
Sydney, Australia and formerly Doone, Kilbricken, Mountrath

Harry Allen died in Sydney, Australia, on Thursday last at the age of 90. He is survived by his wife Anne; son Harry; sister Emily in Wexford; relatives and friends. He was a native of Doone, Kilbricken, Mountrath.

Josephine Cave (née Walsh)
Bray, Wicklow/Louisburgh, Mayo/Shanahoe, Laois

Josephine Cave (née Walsh), late of Bray, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Carrowmore, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo, Guilford, Surrey, England and Shanahoe, Co. Laois, died suddenly but peacefully on 25th August, 2019, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Columcille’s Hospital, Loughlinstown, beloved wife of the late Tom, dearly loved mother Seán and the late Kevin, cherished granny of Claire, Martina, Kevin and Laura, dear aunt of Patricia and Jimmy, fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Maureen, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Friday (30th August) from 9.30am until removal at 10.30am to St. Peter’s Church, Little Bray, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by cremation at 1.00pm in Mount Jerome, Harolds Cross, Dublin 6W. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Purple House Cancer Support can be made at the church or online at purplehouse.ie

Please note that due to roadworks,access to the funeral home can only be made from Ferndale Road, travelling south from Dublin and from the M11 travelling north at Junction 5.

James (Jimmy) Lalor
Temperance Street, Abbeyleix, Laois

Peacefully in the loving care of Ealga Lodge Nursing Home, Shinrone. Deeply regretted by his nephew John, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing in the Chapel of Adoration adjoining The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix on Wednesday from 7pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal to The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix on Thursday for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Mary Kealy (née Sheil)
Kilgorey, Crettyard, Carlow/Castlecomer, Kilkenny/Crettyard, Laois

Kealy Nee Sheil, Mary, Kilgorey, Crettyard, Carlow, Kilkenny 29th August 2019, unexpectedly at The Mater Hospital surrounded by her loving family, predeceased by her husband Michael, son-in-law Martin and grand daughter Lisa and much loved mother of Richard, John, Michael, Anne, Betty, Hilda, and Dorothy, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister Betty & brother Richie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Moran’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer from 3pm Saturday with funeral prayers at 6.30pm followed by removal to St Abban’s Church, Doonane. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
