Today is a huge day for ladies football in Laois as the junior and intermediate championship finals are down for decision in O’Moore Park.
Two of the county’s newer clubs – Clonaslee and Ballyfin – meet in the junior game which is first up at 2pm while the intermediate decider sees St Paul’s and Ballyroan do battle at 3.30pm.
We’re here to bring you every minute of the action.
Clonaslee are in their first year and are looking for immediate success in the junior grade.
Standing in their way is a Ballyfin side that are playing in their third final in a row and are seeking to make it third time lucky having lost on the two previous occasions.
The intermediate final sees St Paul’s look to make it back to back successes having only won the junior title 12 months ago.
Standing in their way are a slightly more experienced Ballyroan-Abbey side but they were only junior as recently as 2016.
Both games are expected to be hard-fought and high-scoring battles if the previous rounds are anything to go by.
And we’re here to keep you right up to date.
