The executive of the Laois County Board have put forward managers for various positions following an executive meeting held last night.
As revealed by LaoisToday last week, Kerry native Micheal Quirke has been put forward to take over the Laois senior footballers for 2020.
His backroom team have yet to be confirmed and Laois GAA say the selection of a manager for the U-20 and minor positions is still being finalised.
In the hurling, as expected, Eddie Brennan is set to continue in his role as Laois senior hurling manager for 2020.
He will once again be assisted by Niall Corcoran, Dave Moriarty, Tommy Fitzgerald and Fran Dowling.
2019 Laois minor boss Enda Lyons will now take charge of the Laois U-20s – replaced David Cuddy who stepped down a few weeks ago.
He will be joined by Sean Conroy, JJ McHugh, James Walsh and Gary Moore.
While the minor job has also been finalised as Clough-Ballacolla man Liam Dunne will take charge of the team.
Former Waterford manager Derek McGrath will be on board as a coach while Ollie Quinlan and Tim Fahey will be selectors with another selector to be added in due course.
All of these will now go before the next County Committee meeting where clubs will be asked to rubber stamp their appointments.
