After a bumper afternoon of Camogie, attentions now switch to hurling as two more finals take place in O’Moore Park.
A really busy day in Laois GAA HQ will come to an end with the Intermediate and Junior hurling finals down for decision.
The action gets underway at 6pm as Park-Ratheniska-Timahoe and The Harps meet in the Junior ‘A’ decider.
Following relegation from Intermediate in 2018, Park-Ratheniska-Timahoe are now contesting their first adult championship final since their amalgamation last year.
David Cuddy’s charges already have a Division 3 league title under their belt and they will be favourites to win here.
But The Harps showed just how good they are in their semi final replay win over Castletown and they are well capable of claiming the silverware.
After that, we have the Intermediate final which throws in at 7.30pm between Camross and Borris-Kilcotton.
Camross are back in this final for the second year running after just being touched off by Slieve Bloom in the decider last season.
They reached the Senior semi finals last night with a win over Castletown and they did it without using any of the players who are eligible for this team.
They defeated Clough-Ballacolla in the semi final and will be favourites to defeat Borris-Kilcotton tonight – who they already defeated in the Division 2 league decider during the summer.
