Kathleen Ryan (née O’Loughlin), The Borness, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, formerly of Drummond, Rosenallis and Kilnamona, Co. Clare. (Retired National School Teacher, Clonaslee.) Died on Oct 25th, 2019, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Midland’s Regoinal Hospital, Tullamore. Predeceased by her husband Seán and her sisters, Agnes, Margaret and Mary. Deeply regretted by her children, Brian, Caitríona and Margaret, stepchildren, Josie, Betty, Tom, Eamon, Seán, Anne and Nicholas, grandchildren, Sophie, Darragh, Lúsaí, Aoibhe, Ellie and Seán, brother Patrick, daughter-in-law Fiona , son-in-law Paul, brothers-in-law John, Joe and Paddy and sister-in-law Theresa.

Reposing at Brian and Fiona’s house in Moneyquid, Killeigh R35 EY95 Sunday, Oct 27th, from 5pm. Recital of the Rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving to St Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis on Monday, Oct. 28th, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Rosenallis. Family time only on Monday morning please.

Kirwan, Donaghmore, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. October 25th 2019. Peacefully at home. John, lovingly remembered by his wife Breeda, daughter Brenda, sons Eugene, Gerard, Sean, Pat and Brian, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, his sisters Kathleen (Ryan), Norrie (McCaul) and Carmel (Power), all his nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Fr. Mark and Willie and his sisters Sr. Vera and Sr. Nell.

Reposing at his residence (Donaghmore) on Sunday from 3pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral mass on Monday in The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney at 11am followed by burial in Rathdowney Local Cemetery.

BROWNE Margaret (Monkstown Farm, Co. Dublin and Port Laoise) 18th October 2019, peacefully, in the care of the staff at Kilminchy Nursing Home, Port Laoise. Predeceased by her mother Kathleen, father Paddy, brother Tony and sister Maureen. Sadly missed by her by her life-long friend Margaret Doyle and her family and her cousins.

Funeral Prayer Service on Friday (25th October) at 10am in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6w, followed by cremation. Ashes to be interred in the family grave in Deans Grange Cemetery at a later date. All enquiries to Carnegies Funeral Directors, Monkstown (01 2808882).

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Friday from 7:30pm with Rosary at 9pm. Removal on Saturday at 10:20am arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.

Gerard (Gerry) Power, Bettystown, Co. Meath, Thailand, and Raheenduff, Stradbally, Co. Laois, suddenly, at home in Thailand. Predeceased by his daughter Elaine, brother Brendan, sister Mary and his loving parents. Much loved and sadly missed by Phyllis, sons Nigel, Barry and Shane, grandchildren Laura, Oran, and Shay, daughter-in-law Liz, brothers Eddie, Frank, Liam and Noel, sisters Imelda, Brigid and Vera extended family and his many friends.

Reposing at The Presentation Chapel Stradbally from 3.30pm on Thursday with Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Friday morning in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally, at 11am followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 2.30pm.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, on Thursday from 6.30 pm with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Friday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 10 am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

In his 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gerry and members of the Phelan and Conroy families. Sadly missed by her children Tim, John, Mary, Catherine and Kevin, daughters-in-law Lucy, Dolores, Karen, sons-in-law James and Noel, her sisters Chris and Nora, brothers-in-law Joe and Charlie, her 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and her many good neighbours and friends.

Removal from the funeral home on Monday evening to arrive at St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin at 6.30pm. Reposing at O’Keeffe’s funeral home, Rathmore, tommorow, Monday, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmore, at 11:30am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
