Kathleen Delaney (nee Brophy), Ross, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. November 29th 2019 following a brief illness. Sadly mourned by her husband Paddy and her sons Tom and Martin and her daughter Margo, daughters in law Annmarie and Ellie, son in law Dan, grandchildren Danielle, Ciara, Padhraic, Evelyn, Maria, Aimee, Emer and Aoife, her brother Mikie, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her son Tom’s home, Ross, Rathdowney (eircode R32X3N7) on Sunday evening from 3pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday in The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Galmoy at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Donations can be made at Kathleen’s funeral to Temple Street and Crumlin Children’s Hospital’s.

Pat Dwyer 20 Grenville (R32 CPK6) Dublin Rd Portlaoise and formerly Butler Avenue and Clongour Thurles. 28th November 2019. Peacefully at home. Surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Joan, son Paul, daughters Martina and Isabel, sisters Mary, Nora and Martina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Friday evening from 5pm until 9pm. Removal on Saturday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s church for 1 o’clock requiem mass. Private cremation will take place at a later date. Family flowers only donations if desired to a charity of your choice.

Ena Coffey (née Hyland)

The death has occurred of Ena Coffey (née Hyland) Clonduff, Rosenallis, County Laois. Ena passed away peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Tom and her sister Eilish. Deeply regretted by her daughter Mary and her partner Steven, sons Peter, Michael & his partner Lisa, brothers Tom and Donal, her sisters-in-law Betty, Sr Anthony, Geraldine and Veronica, her brother-in-law, Peter, her nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Reposing in her home from 7.30pm this Thursday evening with recital of the rosary at 9pm and Friday from 2pm with removal at 6.15pm to St. Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis, ariving for 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.

Farranfore, Kerry / Rathdowney, Laois

Daly (née Comer), Dr. Maureen (retired GP, Farranfore, Co. Kerry and formerly of Fairyhill, Rathdowney, Co. Laois), 27 November, 2019, peacefully, at home. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Paddy and loving mother of Ann, Pat, Margaret and Emer. Maureen will be sadly missed by her family, her daughter-in-law Alacoque, sons-in-law Roddy, Enda and John, her eleven grandchildren, her sister Dodie and brother Jerry, her sisters-in-law Anne and Patricia, her nephews and nieces, extended family, devoted carers, neighbours and many friends.

John Dempsey of Croydon, London and formerly Portlaoise, Co. Laois, passed away suddenly on November 24th, 2019.
Beloved son of Danny and Bridie, cherished brother of Donal, much loved brother-in-law of Cathryn and adored uncle of Cillian and Darragh.

Healion (nee Mulhall) Bridie, Clontarf and late of Glosna, Co. Laois, 25th November 2019. Peacefully at Beneavin House. Beloved wife of Colm and loving Mother of Maura, Terri, Mel and the late Joanie. Sadly missed by her loving sister May, brother Patrick, grandchildren Ciaran, Donal, Colum, Andrew, Stuart, Sarah, Lara and Mia, great-granddaughter Edith, sons-in-law Gerry, David and Paul, sister-in-law Ann, brother-in-law Brian, relatives and friends.
