Money raised for Cuisle Centre as part of ‘Afternoon of Healing’

As part of Laois Connects, Portlaoise Further Education and Training Centre held an ‘Afternoon of Healing’ recently.

The healing was provided, free of charge, by Nature’s Health and Acupuncture Clinic (Portlaoise).

They were also accompanied by a wonderful group of other colleagues who are outstanding healers & therapists.

All donations went to the Cuisle Centre and a total of €375 was raised.

The Cuisle Centre is a registered charity offering professional support to people diagnosed with cancer and their families.

As it is a charity all of their services are free to people who are in need.

The Cuisle Centre expressed their thanks to the healers & therapists who got together on the day to offer this afternoon of healing and also thanked the LOETB for facilitating it.

Ann Marie Nolan said: “Fundraising events like this help us provide all our services free of charge.”
