Fitzpatrick, Ashton Manor, Portlaoise and late of Meelick, Portlaoise, December 19th 2019. At Blackrock Clinic. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. In his 86th year. John, beloved husband to Josie. Dearly loved father to Ann Marie, Séan, Geraldine, Regina, Paula, Deirdre, Pat, Declan, Cora, Niall and Brian. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law Adored grandchildren. Sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Rest in peace

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home from 2.30 pm on Sunday with rosary at 5 pm. Requiem Mass with take place at 12 noon in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise on Monday. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Dogs for the Disabled.

Josephine GIBBONS (née Conroy)
Clonaslee, Laois / Strokestown, Roscommon

GIBBONS – (nee Conroy), (London, England and late of Clonaslee, Co. Laois). December 17th 2019 (peacefully) in her 79th year. Josephine predeceased by her husband Noel (Clooncagh, Strokestown), brothers Sean and Ger, sisters, Christina, Mary and Elizabeth (Lizzie). She will be greatly missed by her heartbroken family her daughters Donna, Florrie and Margaret her grandchildren Thomas, Ailish, Niamh and Luke, sons-in- laws, Tomas and Paul, her sister Kathy, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, carers and large circle of friends. Josephine was cared for by the staff of Nazareth House and loved by everyone that came in contact with her.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Meadow Court, Clane, Kildare / Maynooth, Kildare / Cullohill, Laois

Dunphy, Joseph, Meadow Court, Clane and late of Cowanstown, Maynooth, Co. Kildare and Cullohill, Co. Laois, December 18th 2019, peacefully at Naas Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne, deeply regretted by his loving wife Kathleen, son Aidan, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Ava and Helen, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at his residence on Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10am to arrive at the Church of St. Patrick and St. Brigid, Clane for 10.30am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Mainham Cemetery, Clane.

England and formerly of Redhill, Ballyroan. Predeceased by his sister Judy. Deeply regretted by his brother Ned, sisters Mary, Kathleen, Lizzy, Margaret, Eileen and Anne, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, 21st December, at 11am in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan. Burial of cremated remains afterwards in Tullore Cemetery.

Formerly Ballybrittas County Laois. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Joe, family Jerry, Julie (Vanbroug), Fr Joe, Mary (Butler), brother Michael, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Thursday from 4pm with Removal at 6:20pm arriving St John’s Church, Killenard at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday afternoon at 2:30pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Reposing in the Chapel of Rest at the Regional Hospital, Portlaoise on Wednesday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with rosary recital at 7:00pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 9:30am to arrive at SS Peter & Paul’s Church for 10:00am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in Ss Peter & Paul’s Cemetery.

Sydes, Marian Avenue, Portlaoise. December 17th 2019. Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hosp. Frank. Son of the late James and Annie Sydes. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sisters Betty, Nancy and Stella, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and and great friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise from 6.30 pm on Wednesday evening with rosary recital at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon. Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Anne better known as (Kitty,) Ahearne, Ballymaddock, Stradbally, Laois on 16th Dec, 2019. unexpectedly at her home. Sadly missed and fondly remembered with love by her sisters, May Ahearne, Bridie Connolly, Peggy McElroy, and Teresa Turner, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally on Friday, 20th Dec., with recital of the Rosary at 8oc. Requiem Mass on Saturday, 21st Dec., at 11oc in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally followed by cremation in Newlands Cross Crematorium.
