Portlaoise Panthers recruiting for new inclusive academy team

Portlaoise Panthers in partnership with Laois Sports Partnership are looking for players and coaches for a new inclusive academy basketball team.

The club are looking for boys and girls from the ages of 12 to 17 to join the team.

“Do you know any boys and girls age 12 to 17 that might be interested in playing basketball with us where there is an emphasis on fun, friendship and participation?”

They are also looking for coaches who are willing to undertake a Disability Inclusion Programme and Garda Vetting.

They hope to commence on Saturday February 1st, from 9am to 10am for an initial 6 week trial to gauge the interest.

Cost is €5 per week and will include a club t-shirt.

Portlaoise Panthers was founded in 1965 and have known success in all levels, Juvenile to National League & International.
