Telfords in Portlaoise currently have a vacancy for a Yard General Operative.
The role entails delivering the highest level of customer service to all of our customers, picking orders and ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are strictly adhered to.
As a General Operative you will be responsible for goods outwards along with other yard duties.
The ideal candidate must have at least two years experience working in a similar environment, working with building materials – ie cement products, timber, plumbing etc and will bring a fresh, positive and enthusiastic approach to the role. A valid fork lift licence is essential.
The successful candidate must be a good team player with the ability to work well as part of a team or on their own initiative with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly and welcoming manner.
