LIVE BLOG: Follow all of the action from Sunday’s Laois GAA club championship games

It’s another busy day of club football action in Laois in the men’s and ladies championships.

We will be keeping you updated throughout the day from club grounds all around the county as well as from the triple header in MW Hire O’Moore Park.

There are three games underway at 12 noon with Timahoe playing O’Dempsey’s in the intermediate football championship in Timahoe as well as two junior clashes – Barrowhouse at home to Camross and Castletown at home to The Harps.

At 2pm in O’Moore Park, Ballyroan-Abbey and Ballyfin meet in the winners section of the senior championship. The winners of that one will go straight through to the quarter-final but the losers will have a second chance.

The other two games in O’Moore Park are straight knockout with Arles-Kilcruise and Arles-Killeen meeting at 4pm and Courtwood playing Killeshin at 6pm.

The winners of those two games will advance to Round 3 in two weeks time but the losers will be out of the championship and will have to go into the relegation playoffs.

At 3pm, there is a big game in the Laois Ladies SFC with St Conleth’s travelling to Timahoe. A win would ensure Timahoe’s passage into the last four. At 6pm, unbeaten Portlaoise host St Brigid’s.

Also at 6pm there is intermediate championship fare in Ratheniska as Portlaoise face last year’s senior relegated side Crettyard.

You can keep up with all the action in our Live Blog below.
