Live Blog: Follow all the action from a bumper Saturday of Laois GAA football action

It is another pivotal day in the Laois football championships with games in the senior, intermediate and junior grades – with huge significance attached to them.

The action gets underway at 3.30pm with the second relegation semi final between Stradbally and Arles-Kilcruise.

That is part of a double header in MW Hire O’Moore Park as the second game, at 5.30pm, is a Round 3 clash between Arles-Killeen and The Heath.

Outside of Laois GAA HQ, there a host of games. The IFC relegation final between Annanough and Timahoe throws in at 5pm in Crettyard.

While in the Junior championship, it is a really important day as quarter final places are up for grabs in Group A, B and D.

It is also a massive day in the Ladies senior football championship with two semi finals taking place – both at 6pm.

One sees champions Sarsfields host St Conleth’s in Mountmellick while the other sees St Brigid’s travel to Portlaoise.
