A pop-up Christmas shop with 20,000 square foot of retail space and an outdoor cafe is set to open in Portarlington on December 2.
The team behind the hugely successful GardenShop.ie website are opening a garden centre in the Dublin Road Business Park in spring of 2021 and ahead of that they are opening a pop-up Christmas shop for the month of December.
As well as the 20,000 square foot retail space which will have a range of plants, flowers and Christmas decorations and lights, they have built a warm food kiosk and have created an outdoor seating area in keeping with their shipping container theme.
They have worked with a graffiti artist from Portarlington, a wood worker from Portlaoise and a willow sculpture from Monasterevin to make the space what it is.
They will be championing local food producers and Irish handmade gifts.
The shop will open on December 2 and will sell a range of Christmas decorations as well as some locally produced products & artisan food. You can also pick out your own real Christmas tree from a selection of over 200 locally grown non shed trees.
With a range of kids tools, growing kits, gift sets, glass terrariums, bird care & wildlife products & garden decorations there is something for everyone
