Wife of the Late Jack. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Tom and Padraig, brothers Pat and Mike, sisters Annie and Lily, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to government restrictions a private family repose will take place at her residence on Saturday. Removal on Saturday evening to The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mayo , arriving for prayers at 7pm, (restricted to 25 people). A private family Requiem Mass will take place at 11am on Sunday morning (November 29th), again restricted to 25 people. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Pallas Big, Portlaoise, Laois

Brennan (nee O’Meara) Pallas Big, Portlaoise November 25th 2020 Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Margaret. Beloved wife of Paddy. Dearly loved mother to Michael, Mary and Maritna. Cherished grandmother to Cillian, Ciarán Conall, Ellen, Phoebe, Luke, and Zach. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sister Frances Grant. Brother Matthew. Sons-in-law,Gerard and Paul. Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Given the current exceptional circumstances and to protect the welfare of everyone who knew her , a private funeral, with immediate family only, will take place at 12 noon on Friday in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise and will be streamed on the webcam http://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/web-cam/. Burial will follow in the New Cemetery Ballyfin.

Mary Fogarty
Knockiel, Rathdowney, Laois

Mary Fogarty, Knockiel, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. November 24th 2020. Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Diarmuid. Deeply regretted by her sons James and George, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 Directive a private funeral has been arranged. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed (parishwebsites.ie/rathdowney) from The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney on Friday at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Rathdowney local cemetery.

Newpark, Portlaoise, Laois / Farnanes, Cork

Hughes, Newpark, Portlaoise and formerly Farnanes, Co. Cork, November 22nd 2020, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at South Tipperary Hospital. Angela, beloved wife of the late John. Dearly loved mother to David. Cherished grandmother to Eimear, Gillian and Mark. Lovingly remembered by her daughter in law Camille, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Given the current exceptional circumstances and to protect the welfare of everyone who knew her, a private funeral, with immediate family only, will take place at 2pm on Wednesday in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise and will be streamed on the webcam http://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/web-cam/. Burial will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Mary Kinsella
Ballylehane, Ballylinan, Laois

Mary died peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of St.Vincent’s Community Hospital, Mountmellick, Co. Laois. Predeceased by her father Martin, mother Margaret and brother Martin, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Mary’s funeral cortège will arrive at St. Anne’s Church, Ballylinan on Wednesday, 25th November for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. (Limited to 25 people in the Church) Burial immediately afterwards in Arles Cemetery, Co. Laois.
