Telfords are currently seeking to hire for the following roles:
General Operative (Portlaoise Store)
This role entails delivering the highest level of customer service to all our customers, picking orders and ensuring all Health and Safety procedurs are strictly adhered to. As a General Operative you will be responsible for goods outward along with other yard duty.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with building materials ie cement products, timber, plumbing etc and will bring a fresh positive enthusiastic approach to the role.
A valid forklift license is desirable but not essential if you have a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
The successful candidate must be a good team player with the ability to work well as part of a team or on their own influence with excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly and welcoming manner.
Sales Advisor Part-Time (Mountrath Store)
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of one year’s retail experience in hardware, paint and DIY but not essential if you have a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
This person will work well as part of a team and capable of working on their own initiative, showing productivity in how they go about their daily duties.
Excellent interpersonal skills along with a friendly and welcoming manner is essential for this role. As providing excellent customer service is a very important part of this position the successful candidate will need to show a proven track record in providing such service.
