Laois senior hurling team named ahead of Saturday’s Dublin clash

Cheddar Plunkett interview

Laois senior hurling manager Cheddar Plunkett has named the same starting 15 for Saturday’s clash with Dublin in O’Moore Park that started against Wexford last Sunday.

PJ Scully, who was a late call up for David Dooley who was ruled ineligible, retains his place at corner-forward in a full-forward line alongside Cha Dwyer and Ross King.

Ciaran Comerford is named at centre-forward with Ciaran Collier and Aaron Dunphy either side of him.

Enda Rowland will once again captain the side from the goals while the defence and midfield remains the same as what started last week.

It would not come as a surprise, however, if there were a number of positional and personnel changes before the game starts.

The game throws in at 5pm on Saturday and the game is being shown on GAAGO.

While as always, we will keep you updated on the game via our Live Blog.

LAOIS: Enda Rowland; Lee Cleere, Sean Downey, Donnchadh Hartnett; Jack Kelly, Podge Delaney, Ryan Mullaney; Fiachra C Fennell, Paddy Purcell; Aaron Dunphy, Ciaran Comerford, Ciaran Collier; PJ Scully, Cha Dwyer, Ross King.
