It was a busy evening on the GAA front with games in Divisions 3 and 4 of the football league.
While there were also games in all four groups of U-15 hurling championship.
It was a disappointing evening for the Laois minor hurlers as they exited the Leinster Championship at the first hurdle for the second year running.
The Heath are through the the semi-final in Division 3 and they will play Ballyfin the final game next week.
A point for the latter will be enough to send them through after their victory tonight.
The semi-final and relegation places are complete in Division 4 following tonight’s games.
The Harps will play The Rock in one semi-final while Emo will face Arles-Killeen in the other game.
The relegation playoffs are also complete as Spink and Timahoe will battle it out in one playoff while Portlaoise and Arles-Kilcruise will be fixed for the other game.
