Harmony Residential Care is a contracted service provider to Tusla Child and Family Agency for the provision of Residential Services for Children.

They currently employ 65 staff and are seeking to hire an additional 40 more in the next two months.

They are seeking candidates to fill number of positions in the Laois area.

They seek committed and enthusiastic professionals to fill current available roles and to create a panel to fill additional roles as they develop the service further.

  • Full Time Social Care Workers
  • Relief Social Care Workers
  • Social Care Team Leaders
  • Social Care Managers

Full time Social Care Workers

Setting: Mainstream and Preparation for Leaving Care Children’s Residential Centres. To be eligible to apply, candidates must have at least a level 7 Social Care Degree or a Degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications considered as a related and relevant field are Degree in Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth and Community Work, Social Work, Social Sciences, Teaching & Nursing.

To be eligible to drive the centre cars in line with our insurance, the following criteria must be met: Full Drivers Licence a manual car and be aged 25 years or older.

Relief Social Care Workers

Setting: Mainstream and Preparation for Leaving Care Children’s Residential Centres. To be eligible to apply, candidates must have at least a level 7 Social Care Degree or a Degree in a related and relevant field.

Qualifications considered as a related and relevant field are Degree in Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth and Community Work, Social Work, Social Sciences, Teaching & Nursing.

To be eligible to drive the centre cars in line with our insurance, the following criteria must be met: Full Drivers Licence for a manual car and be aged 25 years or older.

Social Care Team Leaders

Setting: Mainstream and Preparation for Leaving Care Children’s Residential Centres. To be eligible to apply, candidates must have at least a level 7 Social Care Degree or a Degree in a related and relevant field.  Candidates must also have at least 3 years’ experience working in a social care grade with Children.

Qualifications considered as a related and relevant field are Degree in Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth and Community Work, Social Work, Social Sciences, Teaching & Nursing.

To be eligible to drive the centre cars in line with our insurance, the following criteria must be met: Full Drivers Licence for a manual car and be aged 25 years or older.

Social Care Managers

Setting: Mainstream and Preparation for Leaving Care Children’s Residential Centres.  Centres. To be eligible to apply, candidates must hold a minimum level 8 Social Care Degree. Candidates must also have 5 years’ experience of working in a social care grade with children

OR

A level 7 Social Care Degree plus a relevant management qualification suitable for a health care or social care setting plus 5 years’ experience of working in a social care grade in with children.

OR

A level 7 Degree in a related and relevant field plus a relevant management qualification suitable for a health care or social care setting. You must also have 5 years’ experience working in a social care grade with children plus have previously been the manager of a registered centre with the ACIMS within the past 3 years from the time of application. You must have held the post for a period of 24 or more of the preceding 36 months on the date of application.

Qualifications considered as a related and relevant field are Degree in Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Youth and Community Work, Social Work, Social Sciences, Teaching & Nursing.

To be eligible to drive the centre cars in line with our insurance, the following criteria must be met: Full Drivers Licence for a manual car and be aged 25 years or older.

Note

If successful in interview but not selected for a current available position, a panel will be formed from successful candidates for future positions that will come available or a relief position may be offered.
