School’s out for summer but St Colman’s Wellness Workshop in Stradbally proves a big hit

School may be out for summer but the Sonas Kids Wellness Workshop in St Colman’s NS in Stradbally proved a popular and enjoyable attraction for those who took part last week.

Overseen by Pauraic McEvoy, who is a teacher in St Colman’s and a qualified Strength and Conditioning coach, the three-day camp focused primarily on physical and mental well being.

And with St Colman’s NS now having a huge new playing area in the school, there is ample space for sporting activity.

In total 40 children attended with the activities including SAQ drills, functional movement zones, fit zone circuits, yoga, meditation and a range of other games.

“It was a major success and we’re looking forward to future workshops,” said Pauraic.
