Hanlon Kitchens are an established kitchen making company, located in Aghaboe near Ballacolla, Co. Laois, supplying kitchens nationally for both private and commercial clients.

  • Kitchen Fitter
  • Kitchen Sprayer
  • Cabinet Maker
  • Cabinet Maker – 2nd/3rd Year Apprentice

Kitchen Designer Full Time/Part Time

This position will be based in our showrooms at our factory in Aghaboe near Ballacolla, Co. Laois.

Duties will include:

  • Designing kitchens using our software that replicates and includes the customers preferred options
  • Presenting this information professionally and accurately
  • All administration duties associated with the smooth running of the Design Team Division
  • This is a busy area, with scope to learn and grow in an environment where you can put your creative skills to good use
  • The role gives great scope for creativity, interaction and personal development

Skills & Experience:

  • Must have excellent CAD skills (experience in Articad advantageous)
  • A very good knowledge of the kitchen industry
  • An excellent team player with great customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and can-do attitude
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills and first-rate attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook advantageous

Cabinet Maker – Full Time, 5 Days per week

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Considerable knowledge of the practices, materials, and modern computerised machinery relevant to the trade
  • The ideal candidate can work independently, ability to read CAD drawings and translate into fitting and complete installation on site
  • End-to-end production of cabinets is essential
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in plans/measures and resolve issues

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in fitting and installation of cabinets including kitchens, bedrooms, doors, carcasses, wardrobes, etc
  • Full clean drivers’ licence
  • Capable of working well under pressure

Kitchen FitterFull Time5 Days per week

Job includes fitting of high quality kitchens, wardrobes, living room units along with contract projects.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Read detailed CAD drawings proficiently
  • Ability to complete work to a high standard with good attention to detail within an agreed time scale.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ Kitchen fitting experience.
  • Full clean drivers’ licence
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers essential

Kitchen Sprayer – Full Time – 5 Days per week

We are seeking a reliable and punctual worker for prepping & spraying.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Must have experience with air assisted painting equipment and coating techniques
  • Wood/MDF experience is desired
  • Duties include: prepping for spray, sanding, priming and finish coating
  • The candidate could also assist in other areas of our factory.  

Skills & Experience:

  • Must have experience with air assisted painting equipment and coating techniques. Wood/MDF experience is desired.
  • Capable of working well under pressure.

Cabinet Maker – 2nd/3rd Year Apprenticeship 

  • Full Time- 5 Days per week

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Full time position available, with immediate start for the right candidate.
  • Candidates must be familiar with all aspects of cabinet making including the use of machines and tools relevant to the trade
  • Candidates will be on site and in the factory.

Skills & Experience:

  • The chosen candidate must have a keen interest to learn, be proactive and work well under pressure.
  • Candidates must be able to take direction and work as part of a team.
