Talking Sport Podcast: Portarlington reign supreme and what a day for Ballyroan

Talking Sport Podcast

Portarlington are Laois SFC champions for the second time in three months thanks to a comprehensive win over Portlaoise,

And following their massive 4-9 to 0-6 win, Steven Miller, Alan Hartnett and Billy O’Loughlin look back on their win, ponder whether they can get a run in Leinster and question what now for Portlaoise.

We also hear from winning manager Martin Murphy and man of the match Paddy O’Sullivan.

Plus we look back on Ballyroan-Abbey’s dramatic win over Barrowhouse in the Junior final as well as the ladies intermediate and junior finals.

On a memorable day for Ballyroan football, they also claimed the ladies intermediate title to go senior for the first time in their history while after losing four finals on the trot, Ballyfin got their hands on the junior title.

We also talk cynicism, celebrations and why the terrace is never open in O’Moore Park.
