Three Laois men tasted All-Ireland success in the last 24 hours with DCU.

Killeshin’s Ross Bolger and O’Dempsey’s Fionn Holland were both part of the Second Year football team who won their competition last night.

They saw off UL on a scoreline of 3-11 to 0-11 to clinch glory.

Meanwhile, the DCU Second Year hurlers claimed All-Ireland glory on the same day – and a Laois man was an integral part of their team.

Allan Connolly played at corner back for the Dublin college as they got the better of TUS Midwest in the decider.

DCU ran out 2-22 to 2-13 winners with the Ballyfin native having a great game in defence.

All three players were involved with the Laois U-20s this year too.

Bolger represented the footballers while Holland and Connolly played on both the football and hurling teams.

Congratulations lads!
