LaoisToday Podcast: Rory’s Stories on his Laois links, his own struggles and making a career in comedy

Rory's Stories LaoisToday

This interview with Rory O’Connor, AKA Rory’s Stories, was originally broadcast on March 5.

In this week’s LaoisToday Podcast, presenter Brian Moss chats to Rory O’Connor of Rory’s Stories fame.

He discusses his family connection to this area – which is disputed as to whether it’s Laois or Offaly – as well as how a Laois business gave him a break in the business by asking him to do some promotional videos for them a number of years ago.

He also talks about his own mental health battles, his lockdown experience, how he struggled in school and how he made Rory’s Stories a full-time job.

You can listen to the interview in full below on Soundcloud or on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
