Talking Sport Podcast: Defeat to Dublin, Panthers fall short and club championship restructure?

LaoisToday Talking Sport Podcast

Laois’s O’Byrne Cup adventure came to an end in Carlow on Saturday when they were beaten 1-13 to 0-11 by Dublin in Dr Cullen Park.

Steven Miller and Alan Hartnett look back on what was an entertaining game as well as the campaign in general.

With Laois to begin their Division 3 league campaign away to Louth next Sunday, where do Laois stand after and eventful couple of weeks?

Plus we chat about the Portlaoise Panthers loss in the All Ireland women’s U-20 basketball cup final, a talented young local athlete and the important wins for Portarlington and Portlaoise rugby clubs.

As well as that, we talk about football championship reform at club and county level, a new underage grade, the Laois ladies football panel and disappointment for a Laois man in the All Ireland club semi-final.

And we rejoice at Covid now being over!
