Laois GAA club pays tribute following sad passing of ‘dedicated supporter’

There is sadness in Ballickmoyler this week following the passing of Margaret Brennan.

From Arles, Ballickmoyler, Ms Brennan passed away suddenly on Saturday January 22.

A huge supporter of Arles-Killeen, they paid tribute to Magaret on their Facebook page today.

They said: “Arles Killeen would like to send our deepest sympathies to the Brennan family on the passing of Margaret Brennan.

“Margaret was a dedicated supporter of Arles-Killeen where she would attend all of the games and support our club throughout.

“May Margaret rest in peace.”

Margaret is predeceased by her mother Margaret, father William, brothers Joe, Dan, Pat, Br Damian and Vincent, sisters Mary and Bernie and nephew Seán.

She is deeply regretted by her sisters Bridie and Catherine, brothers Liam and Seán, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Margaret will be reposing at her home in Arles this evening from 6.30pm and all day Wednesday with rosary at 8pm on both evenings.

Arriving for funeral mass in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Arles at 12pm on Thursday January 27.

Mass will be live streamed from the Arles Parish website.

Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
