The second Laois GAA County Board draw took place on Friday evening with the top prize of €10,000 being won by Gordan Fogarty from Borris-Kilcotton.
In all €31,500 in prize money was handed out in what was the second of four monthly draws.
The draw is a massive fundraiser for Laois GAA clubs with €115 out of every ticket sold (after the levy) going to the club and the remainder to Laois GAA.
The second prize of €5,000 went to John Traynor and Rory Laffere from St Joseph’s with third prize of €3,000 going to Collette Lyons from Ballyroan-Abbey.
There was also two prizes of €1,500, one prize of €1,000, nine prizes of €500 and 20 prizes of €250.
A total of 25 clubs had winners in this draw as the prizes were spread around the county.
The Harps had the most with three while St Joseph’s, Ballyroan-Abbey, Rosenallis, Park-Ratheniska, Portlaoise, Ballypickas, Timahoe and Annanough had two each.
