Health, economic and market access company named winners at Laois Enterprise Awards

Salutem Insights Enterprise Awards Laois

Salutem Insights Ltd is this year’s winner of the Laois Enterprise Award for 2022 and will now represent Laois at the 22nd National Enterprise Awards at the Mansion House in Dublin in June.

Salutem Insights is a health, economic and market access company – that helps to bring life-saving medicine to the market.

Based in Clough, Salutem Insights is owned by Laois man Ger Slevin and Wexford native Sandra Redmond.

Ms Redmond is the General Manager and looks after the day-to-day running of the company.

Ger is well known in GAA circles in Laois and is currently Laois GAA’s Development Officer.

Salutem Insights was founded in 2016 and employs six people who work remotely at locations in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

They support the healthcare sector with in-depth analysis, interpretation, and communication of clinical and health economic data.

They provide all types of health economic and outcomes research, such as health technology assessment (HTA) submissions, burden of illness reports, systematic reviews, and economic models.

They also provide training to both industry and academic institutions on health economics, economic modelling and on ensuring that the high standards required for completion of HTA submissions are met.

Their senior experts are materially involved in all projects and have a substantive role in all deliverables, where they balance scientific and academic expertise with commercial and strategic awareness.

They put significant importance on their engagement with their clients as they realise its paramount to the success of any project.

They are expanding year-on-year and have plans to continue to do so in the future.

Salutem Insights Ltd will now be competing against 30 other finalists from every local authority area for a share of the €35,000 winner’s prize fund as national judging took place in May.

Categories this year include ‘Best Export Business,’ ‘Best Start-Up’ and ‘Innovation,’ in addition to eight regional awards.

There are also two new National Enterprise Awards this year with a “One to Watch” award and a “Sustainability / Green” award.

The 2022 National Enterprise Awards take place on Thursday June 2 in the Mansion House in Dublin and are organised by the Local Enterprise Offices:

  • Overall Winner, National Enterprise Awards 2022 (Cash Prize for business: €10,000)
  • Best Export Award (Cash Prize for business: €5,000)
  • Best Innovation Award (Cash Prize for business: €5,000)
  • Best Start-Up Award (Cash Prize for business: €5,000)
  • Innovation / Green Award (Cash Prize for business: €5,000)
  • One to Watch Award (Cash Prize for business: €5,000)
  • Eight Runner-Up Winners (Cash Prize for business: €2,000 each)
