Fixture details confirmed for All Ireland intermediate ladies football quarter-final

Laois ladies football (1)

The Laois ladies football team will make the trip to Kinnegad in Westmeath this Sunday for their All Ireland intermediate quarter-final clash with Wicklow.

Venue details were only confirmed yesterday with the Laois-Wicklow game the second part of a double header with Louth-Roscommon quarter-final.

Laois’s game will throw in at 4pm and will be streamed live by the LGFA.

Laois topped Group D after impressive wins over Sligo and Tyrone with their reward a quarter-final place against the second-placed team in Group A.

And it was Wicklow who emerged there after wins over Leitrim and Offaly. They were beaten by group winners Wexford by four points.

The other quarter-finals are all on Sunday and see Louth play Roscommon in Kinnegad at 2pm, Clare play Longford at 2pm in Birr and Tyrone play Wexford at 2pm in Ashbourne.

If Laois win on Sunday then they will play Longford or Clare in the semi-final on Sunday, July 10.

The All Ireland finals across senior, intermediate and junior are pencilled in for Sunday, July 31, in Croke Park.
