Portarlington Further Education and Training Centre are holding an Information Evening on Tuesday, September 27, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
There are a range of courses available – with part-time evening and morning options as well as a Lifelong Learning Certificate in Communications.
Part-time Morning
Payroll (Manual & Computerised) – 3 hours per week/19 weeks QQI*
Basic Computers – 3 hours per week/11 weeks QQI*
Internet/Email/Office 365 (Non accredited) – 2 hours per week/5 weeks
Part-time evening
App Development (Non accredited) – 2 hours per week/10 weeks
Beginners Computers – QQI Level 4, 3 Hours per week/19 weeks
Mobile Technologies (Non accredited), 2 Hours per week/9 weeks
Lifelong Learning
Certificate in Communications – QQI Level 7 (Accredited by UCC)
Delivered in the Laois Education Centre, Block Road, Portlaoise
Thursday evenings/4 hours from September 29 to April 29
Fees: €3,000 payable to UCC
*Cost of QQI Certification must be paid by the graduate. T&Cs apply
