Claire Geoghegan (nee Maher), Apartment 1, Bridle Walk, Kilminchy, Portlaoise, Co. Laois (formerly The Heath, Portlaoise) Died 16th November 2022. Predeceased by her husband Reuben and her infant daughter Bronagh, her great-grandchild Reuben Joseph and her brother-in-law Andy, Deeply regretted by her daughter Elaine and her partner Nigel, her son Sean and his wife Colette, grandchildren James and Rachel, great-grandchildren Grace, Hannah and Everly, sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, neighbours, relatives and her many friends.

Reposing at her son Seans home 44 Rossvale Court, Portlaoise R32R2YD on Friday from 4 o’clock, Recital of the Rosary at 6 o’clock. Funeral arriving for 11 o’clock mass on Saturday at the Church of the Assumption, The Heath, Portlaoise. Burial after in the adjoining cemetery.

Winifred Flanagan (née Goulding)
”Slieve Bloom”, Arden Heights, Tullamore, Offaly / Ballyfin, Laois

Late of Ross, Ballyfin, Co. Laois. Peacefully at the Regional Hospital, Tullamore. Pre deceased by her brother John. Winnifred will be sadly missed by her loving husband John and sons Kevin and Dermot, daughter in law Bridget, grandsons John and James, her brother Michael and sister Frances, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore, on Thursday from 4.30pm until 6pm. Reposing then at her home from 7pm until 9pm. Removal on Friday afternoon to the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial after Mass in St. Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee.

John Conway
Coonbeg, Laois / Carlow

John Conway ofCoonbeg, Via Athy, Co. Laois, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on November 15th, 2022, at his home.

Beloved husband of Betty, much loved father of John Patrick, Brendan and Sarah (Sadie), adored grandfather of John, Anna, Aidan, Emma, Ben, James, Kate, Beth and Peter, cherished brother of Maura, JJ, Patricia, Willie, Sadie, and Connie and father-in-law of Colette, Suzanne and Paul.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home (Eircode R14 Y230) from 4pm on Wednesday concluding with Prayers at 9.30pm. Removal on Thursday at 1.15pm to The Church of the Sacred Heart, Arles, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Tom Donlan of Shankill, Co. Dublin, formerly of Mountrath, Co. Laois and the ESB, died on Sunday, 13th November, 2022 at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin. Loving husband of Pam and father of Peter and the late Jude. He will be sadly missed by his wife, son, sister Mary Daly, brother Noel and by his extended family and friends. Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday (Nov.17) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, with Prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday (Nov.18) at 11.00am in St. Anne’s Church, Shankill, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. The mass may also be viewed live online at www.churchservices.tv/shankill .
