Live gig planned on Saturday evening in aid of Laois Domestic Abuse Service

Jeremiah Grant

A live gig aimed at raising much needed funds for the Laois Domestic Abuse Service will take place on Saturday.

Monsters of Craic will take the stage in Jeremiah Grant’s with music from 8pm.

Entry to the gig is free but there will be a raffle that will take place on the night.

All donations and tickets bought for the raffle will go towards Laois Domestic Abuse Service.

The Monsters of Craic will put on ‘Motion sickness’ in a bid to sate all your rock, grunge and metal needs.

A spokesperson said: “No fan of Dad Rock, Grunge, or Metal should miss this.”

Established in November 2006 Laois Domestic Abuse Service is a non governmental organisation, and registered charity.

They are the only specialist service in Laois working to provide support, information and advocacy services to women and children/young people subjected to domestic abuse and coercive control.

In February, the Government confirmed the provision of a new 8 unit refuge for victims of domestic violence in Portlaoise.
