Patrick Mooney
Fermoyle, Attanagh, Laois/Attanagh, Kilkenny

Peacefully, at Beechpark Nursing Home, Kildare. Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Maureen, his sisters, Mary and Carmel, twin brother Tom. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers Noel, John, Jim, Dominic and Nicholas, sisters in law Nancy, Essie, Kathleen and Marcia, brother in law Willie Phillips, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Jim and Nancy Mooney’s residence, Fermoyle, from 4.00 to 9.00pm on Saturday evening with prayers at 9.00pm. Reposing on Sunday from 4.00 to 8.00pm with prayers at 8.00pm.

Removal to the Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill, on Monday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Patricia Ivory (née Wiseman)
Chapel St, Ballinakill, Laois

Patricia is predeceased by her husband Jim and is formerly from Liverpool. Sadly missed by her daughter Brigid and son Thomas, his partner Mckayla, sister Ronnie, brother in law, sisters in law, niece, grandson James, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence from 4pm on Saturday with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2pm in St Brigid’s Church Ballinakill and burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.

Stella O’Neill
Emmet Tec, Mountmellick, Laois

Stella O’Neill Emmet Tec, Mountmellick. Died November 24th in the loving care of The Staff of St. Mary Theresa’s Ward, St.Vincent’s Community Nursing Home, Mountmellick. Beloved daughter of The late Fintan and Brigid.

Predeceased by her dear brothers and sisters John, Fintan, Ger, Michael, Anthony and Maura. Deeply regretted by her sisters Joan Gorman (Mountmellick), Esther Powell (Portarlington) and brother Joe and his wife Annn (Virginia, Co. Cavan), nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing in Moloneys Funeral Home, Mountmellick on Friday from 5pm Recital of The Rosary at 6.30pm. Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick on Saturday from 1pm. Eddie Dunne
Davitt Road, Mountmellick, Laois

Eddie Dunne, Davitt Road, Mountmellick. Died November 24th, unexpectedly in the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore. Deeply regretted by his loving family, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Life Long Member Pioneer Total Abstinence Association.

Beloved son of the late Paddy and Mary. Predeceased by his dear sister Mary Kelly (UK). Deeply regretted by his loving brothers and sisters Carmel Barker (UK) Patsy Barker (UK) Patrick (P.) (Davitt Road), Geraldine Barnett (Rosenallis), Ann Meehan (Mountmellick), Theresa Clear Mountmellick, Martin (Portlaoise), Uncle of Darrin Dunne Pavement and Ground Works Company Portlaoise, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and his many friends.

Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Friday from 8pm. Recital of The Rosary at 9.30pm.

Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Saturday from 10am. Removal at 10.45am to St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Bill Sherlock
London and late of Eyne, Portlaoise, Laois

The death has occurred of Bill Sherlock, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Trinity Hospice, Clapham.

Remembered with love and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Olive (Joyce), his sister Bridie, his brother Mick, his sisters in law, brothers in law, goddaughter, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents, his sister Helen and brother in law Ron.

Inchicore, Dublin/Portlaoise, Laois

ARCHBOLD Fr. Sean (John J) OMI November 17th, 2022, late of St Patrick’s Basilica Fremantle W Australia and formerly of Belcamp College Dublin, St. Michael’s Parish Inchicore, House of Retreat Inchicore, and Portlaoise Co Laois. Peacefully after a short illness in the loving care of the staff at Joseph Cooke House Nursing Home, Perth W Australia. Sean was predeceased by his parents Richard (Dick) and Annie and brothers Tom and Frank. Sadly missed by his sister Ann, brother Noel, brother-in-law, sisters- in- law, nieces, nephews grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great- grandnieces.

Fr. Sean’s funeral will be streamed live from St Patrick’s Basilica Fremantle on Monday, November 28th, 2022, commencing at 5.45am Irish time with burial thereafter in the Oblate plot in Fremantle Cemetery.
