The death has taken place of Noel Meskill, Agoura House, Kileen, Stradbally, Co. Laois, peacefully on 4th January, surrounded by his loving family at Beechwood Nursing Home, Co. Kildare. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Eucharia and their son Brian, his relatives, extended family neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally on Friday, 6th January 2023, from 11am until the conclusion of the rosary at 7.30pm Requiem Mass on Saturday in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally at 10am, Interment to follow in Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin.

Mary Phelan
Rathdowney, Laois / Ranelagh, Dublin

The death has occurred on 5th January 2023 of Mary Phelan (peacefully in her 99th year) on 5th January 2023 in the exceptional care of the staff of Nephin Nursing Home, Navan Road, Dublin. Late of Ranelagh, Dublin, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and Gortnahoe (The Shop) Co. Tipperary. Predeceased by her siblings Stasia, Dolly, Josie, Timmy, Andy, Celia, Gretta, Tommy, John and Eddie and her cousin Delia Harte. Deeply regretted by her nieces and nephews, especially Fiona, Mary, Rita (Holohan) and Maureen (Magee), grand nieces, grand nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney Co. Laois on Friday, 6th January 2023, from 6.30pm to 8.00pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in The Church of The Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney at 10am on Saturday, 7th January 2023, followed by burial in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Gorthnahoe, Co. Tipperary. Anna Mae Treacy (née Berry)
Tourtane, Clogh, Castlecomer, Kilkenny / Wolfhill, Laois

Anna MaeTreacy (nee Berry) died peacefully, in her 103rd Year surrounded by her loving family

Predeceased by her husbands Patrick Keyes and Jimmy Treacy, infant children Matthew and Agatha, daughter Peig O’Loughlin, sons-in-law Seamus Brennan and Lenny Nelson.

Anna Mae will be sadly missed by her children Betty Brennan, Larry Keyes, Breda Hetherington, and Máire Ní Threasaigh, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, daugther-in-law Betty Keyes, sons-in-law Vincent Hetherington and Pat O’Loughlin.

Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer on Thursday (5th January) from 5pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7pm. Reposing on Friday (6th January) from 2pm with Funeral Prayers at 7pm, followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Clogh. Requiem Mass on Saturday morning at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Kevin Anthony Hanly, formerly of Wolfe Tone Street, Mountmellick, Kilcooney, Geashill and Dublin died January 2nd.2023 at The Regional Hospital Tullamore.

Predeceased by his wife Isobel.

Deeply regretted by his family Michael, Sandra, Bobby and Barry , grandchildren, relatives, family circle, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 o’clock, Recital of the Rosary at 7.30pm. Funeral arriving at the Sacred Heart Church, Killinarden, Dublin on Friday for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass. Cremation Service afterwards at 1 o’clock in Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Patrick (Paddy) Brennan
Patrick Street, Portarlington, Offaly/Portarlington, Laois

Suddenly at his residence. Predeceased by his parents James and Alice Brennan and brother DJ.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Melanie, son James and his partner Josefiina, brothers Eugene and Bosco, sisters Anastasia and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends and his loyal faithful (four legged friend) Jack the Lad.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington on Thursday evening from 6:30pm with Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Friday morning at 9:20am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.

May Whyte (nee Campion), Parknahown, Cullohill, Co. Laois. January 2nd 2023. Peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by her brothers Michael, Eddie, Sean and her sister Frances and recently deceased (December 30th) her brother Lot.

Sadly missed by her husband Tommy, much loved mother of Joe, Ger (Moreau), Mary-Paul (Delahunty), Helen (Walton), Clem and Lourda (D’Arcy), her adored grandchildren, John, Tommy, Bill, Tommy, Adam, Ruby, Luke, Hannah, Lilly, Orlaith, Eadaoin, Jimmy, Emma, John, Isobel and Amelia, daughters-in-law Marlene and Marie, sons-in-law Simon, Steve, Eamon and Dermot, sisters-in-law Peg and Mary, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
