All the results and reports from Day 1 of the 2023 Cumann na mBunscol hurling and camogie finals

It was a hectic day of action in O’Moore Park today as the first day of this year’s Cumann na mBunscol hurling and camogie finals took place.

In all ten games took place – with wins for Cullohill, Clough, Derrylamogue, Paddock, Castletown, Camross, Killadooley, Ratheniska and The Heath.

The boys Division 1 championship final between Clough and Castletown was an extra time thriller, won in the end by Clough by a single point.

There was also only a point in it in the Division 1 boys shield final, where Killadooley held off Camross in an equally entertaining affair.

Camross tasted success in the Division 1 camogie championship final and while a number of schools played in two finals, Derrylamogue were the only ones to bring home two trophies.
