‘A unique insight into one of Ireland’s largest primary schools’ – New book launched

Holy Family Book Launch (3)

Students and teachers came together in Holy Family Senior School on Tuesday to launch a brand new book.

The book, entitled “Through the Lens”, is a 120 page full colour publication.

It offers a window into life at one of Ireland’s largest primary schools- and the diversity of personalities and activities that make the school unique.

It contains articles, interviews, artwork, stories, quizzes, puzzles and more.

The book is a collaboration among staff and students led by the editorial team of Eimear Cahill, Paul Finn, Garrett Malone and Kate Stack.

Contributors include Principal Róisín Brennan, Chaplain Fr. David Vard and former Laois manager Seán Dempsey.

There are also several articles written by the children themselves.

Designed and produced by Mochua Print, Portlaoise, the book is available to buy directly from the school at a cost of €15 and is expected to sell out fast.
