Laois learn their fate as draw made for Tailteann Cup preliminary quarter finals

Laois senior footballers general

The draw has been made for the preliminary quarter finals of the 2023 Tailteann Cup.

After finishing third in their group, Laois will be on the road next weekend.

They have been drawn away to Fermanagh with the game due to take place either Saturday or Sunday – June 9 or 10.

Should Laois win, they will be on the road the weekend away to one of the group winners.

The winner of this tie will be away to one of Cavan, Meath, Limerick or Antrim.

Laois ended up here after finishing third in the group behind Cavan and Offaly.

Laois began with a nine point defeat against Cavan and then drew with Offaly despite being six points up with 67 minutes played.

Laois faced London in Parnell Park yesterday where a late Niall Corbet point salvaged a draw.
