Pop-up Energy Retrofit Clinics with the SEAI in Portlaoise

The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) will be hosting three days of pop-up energy retrofit clinics in collaboration with The CUBE Low Carbon Centre Excellence in Portlaoise in September.

These clinics will provide homeowners, business owners, farmers, and community groups with the opportunity to avail of a free one-to-one meeting with a dedicated SEAI Energy Consultant to discuss the retrofitting options for their home, business premises, or community spaces.

Information on the relevant grants available will also be provided and how these can be applied for.

The SEAI is Ireland’s national sustainable energy authority, working with householders, businesses, communities and government to create a cleaner energy future.

SEAI grants are helping homeowners, business owners, communities and large industry reduce their energy costs and greenhouse emissions.

Speaking about the pop-up energy retrofit clinics with the SEAI, Caroline Hofman, Managing Director of The CUBE, said:

“We are delighted to be hosting these energy retrofit clinics in collaboration with the SEAI.

“They are open to any homeowner, community group, business owner or farmer looking to retrofit their home or premises, and for anyone interested in finding out more about the suite of grants available.

“Our dedicated SEAI Energy Consultant will demystify the process for you and provide information specific to your premises and the application process for the grants and supports available.

“From individual energy upgrade grants to the One Stop Shop Service, there are a number of ways to make your home warmer and greener, saving energy and lowering costs in the long-term.

“There are also numerous community and business grants and supports that can be availed of for your business or community premises, helping you to reduce energy costs and meet energy saving targets.”

The pop-up clinics will be taking place in The CUBE Low Carbon Centre of Excellence in Portlaoise on September 26, 28, and 29, with a number of time slots still available for all three days.
