Gardai seeking public’s assistance to trace Laois man who is missing almost two weeks

Gardai are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a Laois man who has been missing for almost two weeks.

59-year-old Brian Barry was last seen in the Mountmellick area of Laois on Monday, September 4.

Gardai have released a public appeal for help to find him.

They said: “Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 59-year-old Brian Barry.

“He was last seen in the Mountmellick area of County Laois on the evening of Monday, September 4.

“Brian is described as 5’6” in height, slim build and tight grey hair, blue eyes and tanned complexion.

“It’s understood he was wearing grey trousers and a grey jacket, when last seen.

“Anyone with information on Brian’s whereabouts are asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station 057 867 4100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
