Formerly of Ballindrum, Athy County, Kildare. Suddenly at his residence. Sadly missed by his loving wife Jenny, son Graeme, brothers Tom and Joe, sisters Mary and Dorothy, brothers-in-law Kenneth and William, niece Elizabeth, mother-in-law Lily Champ, extended family, neighbours and friends.

House Private for Family Until Monday Evening, Please.

Beladd Upper, Portlaoise, Laois

Formerly of Barking, Essex. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a short illness borne with great courage and dignity at Tullamore Hospital. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Robert (Bob) and adored mother of Sophia and Shane. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, daughter and son, her sister Ann, brother John, in-laws, family circle, friends, neighbours and work colleagues in Mulhall’s Supervalu.

House private until: Tuesday 26th September 2023

Reposing at St Peter’s (Church of Ireland) Church from 6:30 pm, with Service of Evening Prayer at 8 pm.

Wednesday 27th September 2023, reposing at home from 4 pm with Rosary at 7 pm.

Thursday 28th September 2023, Requiem Mass at St Peter and St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church at 2pm, Portlaoise, followed by burial at The Holy Trinity Church, The Rock of Dunamase.

Family flowers only, donations to the Friends of Tullamore Hospital, Tullamore.

Fergal Donaghy, 23 The Glebe, Stradbally, Co. Laois peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his loving family at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin on the 22nd September 2023. Sadly missed by his partner Cathy and their children Aidan and Niamh, sister Maoliosa and family, The Hewitt Family, extended families, his work colleagues, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at his home on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm with Recital of Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass at 11am in the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally on Monday 25th September. Interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed. House Private on Monday, morning.

Michael Aidan Walsh
Glosha, Rathdowney, Laois, R32 DA22 / Errill, Laois

Michael Aidan Walsh, Glosha, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Garryduff, Errill, Co Laois, September 22nd. 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Lena and his brothers and sisters.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Anne, his adoring children Lizanne, Helena and Michael-John, grandchild Beth, brother Raymond, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence (Eircode R32 DA22) on Sunday afternoon from 3 o’clock pausing for prayers at 7 o’clock . Removal on Monday morning to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving for Requiem mass at 11. o’clock. Interment immediately afterwards in The Local Cemetery, Rathdowney.

Elizabeth (Betty) Tully (née Downey)
The Laurels, Moore Street, Loughrea, Galway / Lucan, Dublin / Portarlington, Laois

Formerly of Portarlington, Co Laois and Ardevin Avenue, Lucan, Co Dublin

Betty passed away peacefully on Thursday 21st of September 2023 in the care of the staff of Galway University Hospital and surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Tommy.

Betty will be sadly missed and always remembered by Petula and Willie, Bernadette, her God-daughter Ella, John, William, Lisa and their spouses, her cousin Gay, her other cousins and relatives, her late husband Tommy’s nieces and nephew and her neighbours and many friends.

Betty will repose at Bernadette Glynn’s residence, 5 The Waterfront, Gort Road, Loughrea (H62 EF65) on Sunday afternoon, 24th of September from 4pm to 6pm.

Funeral cortege will arrive to The Church of the Holy Family, Clostoken on Monday at 10.45am for Requiem Mass for Betty at 11am.

Burial will take place after Mass in Clostoken cemetery.

House Private on Monday morning.
