It was a hectic day of action in O’Moore Park today as the first day of this year’s Cumann na mBunscol hurling and camogie finals took place.
The O’Moore Park pitch has been split in two for double games with half of the games at the Town End and the other on the Abbeyleix side.
10 finals were played in all and winners came from all sides of the county.
The big winners on the day were Killadoley and Gaelscoil Phortlaoise who claimed two titles on the day.
Students from Scoil Bhride, Trumera, Clough, Camross and Durrow all returned home with winners medals.
