Cumann na mBunscol hurling and camogie fixtures confirmed ahead of finals week

Cumann na mBunscol Day 3

The Cumann na mBunscol football finals return to O’Moore Park this week and 23 games are down for decision.

The finals will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 13 to 14, with the action getting underway at 9.30am each day.

The football finals last year had to be postponed by a week due to ice and snow – but we have wall to wall sunshine this week.

The O’Moore Park pitch will be split in two for double games with half of the games at the Town End and the other on the Abbeyleix side.

A total of 32 schools from across the county will compete over the two days.

While Gaelscoil Phortlaoise will be hoping for a magical week as they will have four chances to win.

Holy Family and Scoil Bhride are set to contest three finals each.

The Heath, Durrow, Abbeyleix, Paddock, Emo, Clonaghadoo and Raheen will appear in two finals each.

We will be in O’Moore Park over the two days where we will have reports from each of the matches.

We will also have pictures and results round up each evening after the games.

Check out the fixtures below:

It takes considerable time and resources for LaoisToday to cover 23 Cumann na mBunscol finals over two days. Please respect this and refrain from sharing screengrabs of our reports. Subscription is available at €6.99 per month and can be cancelled at any time.
