Laois County Council shortlisted for three Public Sector Digital Transformation awards

Laois County Council has been shortlisted for this year’s Public Sector Digital Transformation Awards in three categories.

The awards recognise and celebrate excellence and innovation in the delivery of public sector digital transformation.

Laois County Council has been shortlisted in the following categories:

Security and Privacy Team of the Year – Laois County Council Cybersecurity Team.

Best Local Government Authority Project – STEM in the Midlands – A project action of the Midlands Regional Enterprise Plan to 2024, which is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the EU Just Transition Fund Programme 2021-2027.

Best ICT Project of the Year – MyPay Payroll & Superannuation Shared Service – Superannuation Robotic Process Automation Project.

“This recognition is a testament to the dedication and innovation of our teams and the wider organisation.

“Their commitment ensures we remain leaders in cybersecurity among local authorities and continue to embrace emerging technologies to better serve our community in Laois and across the Midlands.

“From protecting sensitive data to driving digital innovation, their work is central to delivering efficient, modern public services that meet the evolving needs of our citizens.”

Winners will be announced at the Mansion House in Dublin on Thursday, October 16.
