There has been a stabbing incident in Portarlington this morning.
Gardai say the incident have occurred this morning.
A Garda spokesman says that one male was stabbed a number of times.
However, his injuries are reported to be non-life threatening.
Gardai confirmed that four men have been arrested following the incident.
Two of these are being held in Portlaoise Garda station while another two are in Tullamore.
It is believed that the incident occurred in an apartment block off French Church Street, and involved four to five people.
Gardai are believed to be on the scene at present.
