Ballyroan Vintage Club donate €4,600 to Abbeyleix Hospital Patients Fund

€4,600.00 for Abbeyleix Hospital Patients Fund. The Abbeyleix Hospital Patients fund recently received a cheque for €4,600 from Ballyroan Vintage.

The Chairman of Ballyroan Vintage Club, Dan Kinsella, presented the cheque to Tom Lawlor, Margaret Hennessy and Dr John Madden on behalf of Friends of Abbeyleix Hospital.

Ballyroan Vintage Club have proved themselves to be very charitable, as they also host an annual run on St Stephen’s Day.

The run is called Tom Kinsella Memorial Christmas Convoy Road Run.

All the proceeds of their highly successful annual run go to the Laois Specialist Palliative Care Team, a very worthy cause indeed.

The Laois Specialist Palliative Care Team provide homecare and support services, assisting people of all ages and from all walks of life in the comfort of their own homes and within their own communities.

These nurses do outstanding work just when families need it and they deserve all the support they can get.
