DUGGAN, James (late of Clondalkin, Mountrath and Portlaoise), June 23rd, 2017, suddenly. Beloved son of James and Sandra, and loving father of Cameron. Sadly missed by his fiancé Jessica, brothers David and Joseph, sister Sandra, grandparents, neices, nephews, aunts and uncles, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin, on Tuesday, arriving at 11.20am for 11.30am Requiem Mass, followed by burial at Newlands Cross Cemetery.

Easter Hill, Portlaoise, Laois

Dunne (nee Dalton) Easter Hill, Portlaoise, June 24th 2017. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. In the devoted care of the staff of St Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick. Maureen, beloved wife of the late Paddy and dearly loved mother to Adrian. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter in law Lucy, brother, Paddy Dalton, sister Catherine Young, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise from 5 pm on Sunday evening, with removal at 7.15 pm to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan for 8 pm. Funeral will proceed via Munny Cross and Easter Hill. Requiem mass on Monday at 11 am followed by interment in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Ballyroan. Family flowers only, donations if desired to St Vincent’s Hosp. Mountmellick.

Patrick died in the loving care of the staff at Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny. Funeral arrangements later.

Late of Clara, Co. Offaly and Portarlington, Co. Laois, June 21st 2017, (Suddenly) in the loving care of the Staff of the Asgard Lodge Nursing Home Arklow. Wesley (Husband of the late Patricia) and brother of the late Richard (Dick) sadly missed by his loving sons Nigel, Alistair and Roy, daughters in law Carol, Naomi and Lubnha, grandchildren Adam, Robin, Peter, Husna and Sulayman, sisters Harriette and Helen, brother Billy, sister in law Freda, brother in law Jack, cousin Victor, Joyce, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.  Reposing at His Residence (Maple Drive) tomorrow, Sunday 25th June, from 3.oc to 6.oc. Funeral Service on Monday in St. Mary’s Church Bagenalstown at 2.oc followed by burial in St. Kieran’s Cemetery Kilkenny. Family flowers only please. Raymond (Ray) Fitzpatrick, Aughafan, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. June 22. 2017 (peacefully) at St. James’ Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Thomas (Giggi) and Winnie. Deeply regretted by his loving son Adam, sister Mairead, brothers Kevin, Ger, Cyril and Ken, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown, Mountrath tomorrow, Saturday, from 4pm with rosary in the Funeral Home at 9pm. Removal on Sunday morning, 25th June, at 10.15am to St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown for Funeral Mass at 10.30am with burial immediately afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Br. Amedy Hayes, De La Salle Brothers, Miguel House, Castletown, Mountrath and formerly of Rearcross and Kilconane, Norwood, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. Passed away peacefully in Miguel House, on Thursday, 22nd June. Brother of the Late Michael Hayes. Deeply regretted by his brother Martin (USA), nephews Seamus, John and Jim (USA), nieces Maura, Breda, Kay, Patsy, Madeline and Caroline (USA), grandnieces, grandnephews, sister-in-law, relatives, friends and confrere and staff of Miguel House. Reposing in Miguel House tomorrow, Saturday, from 4.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral Liturgy and Mass on Sunday, 25th June at 2.00pm in Castletown. Burial immediately afterwards in the Community Cemetery, Castletown.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband John and daughter Sheila. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Mary and Margaret, sisters Bridgie and Peggy, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law Peadar, adored grandchildren Darren, Alison, Eve and Faye, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at her residence from 2pm tomorrow, Saturday, with Rosary at 9pm. Arriving at St. Abban’s Church, Doonane for Requiem Mass on Sunday at 1pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bergin, Gemma (née Bergin), Scarbhóg, Garron, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois. Peacefully at her home on 20th June 2017. Gemma, dearly loved wife will be sadly missed by her husband Dan, her sons John and Joe, daughters Mary, Edel and Julie, deeply regretted by her daughters-in-law Linda and Kate, sons-in-law Paul, Ciarán and Padraic, grandchildren Caoilinn, Tara, Adam and Sylvie. Fondly remembered and dearly missed by her brothers Fintan and Canice, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and her many friends. Reposing at her home on Friday, 23rd June, from 3pm with rosary at 9pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in Killasmeestia Church followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Gerry Conroy (Ballyfin, Portlaoise) 21st June 2017, peacefully and in the loving care of Portlaoise Hospital staff, surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mai, his children Tim, John, Mary, Catherine and Kevin, daughters-in-law Lucy, Dolores, Karen, sons-in-law James and Noel, his 14 granndchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and his many good friends. Reposing at his residence in Cappinrush, Ballyfin from 6pm on Wednesday, 21st June, with rosary at 9pm. Removal on Thursday evening to arrive at St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass in St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin at 11.00am on Friday with interment afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Ballyfin. Family flowers only please. Beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Niall and Nick and a grandfather of Leon, Max, Olivia, Daniel, Áine, Ross and the late baby Nicholas. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law Marie-Therese and Kym, brother, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at his family home this (Tuesday) evening from 6.00 o’c. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Esker on (Thursday) morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00 o’c followed by burial in Esker Cemetery. No flowers, please. Donations, if desired, to Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross or Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.

Lena died peacefully in the loving care of her husband Michael and her sister Stella, and her husband Michael Delaney in Stella and Michael’s home in Wolfe Tone Street, Mountmellick. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, sister, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and many friends. Lena will repose in the home of Stella and Michael, Wolfe Tone Street, from 2pm this Tuesday evening. Recital of The Rosary at 9pm. Reposing on Wednesday aii day. Removal at 6.20pm to St. Joseph’s Church arriving at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
