Laois U-17 Boys win bronze at All-Ireland cross country

Laois U-17 Boys followed up on their Leinster success, by winning the Bronze medals in the All-Ireland in Waterford.

Cian McDonald (Ballyronan Abbeyleix & District AC) made the early running in the race and was 2nd Individual. Adam Holden (Mountmellick AC ) had a brilliant run to finish 9th.

Chasing down the leading group were Cathal Connaughton (Oughaval AC) and Eddie Allen (Emo Rath AC), finishing 13th and 15th respectivrly. Completing the team effort were Colin Grennan (Mountmellick AC) and Liam Butler (St. Michaels AC)

Donegal were the county winners, with Cork 2nd.
